Automatic mixer with VERTICAL DRUM

BS103 is an automatic mixer whose function is to take, lift and rotate, for a period defined by the operator, drums whose contents needs to be mixed. All these operations are carried out automatically.

The drum, placed vertically in the loading position, is initially clamped and lifted, and then rotated laterally to the right or left, continuously, for a preset time that can range from a few seconds to many hours. Alternatively, but only for mixers equipped with PLC, the drum can be rotated for a certain number of revolutions. After mixing, you can decide to reposition the drum vertically, or rotate it to a tilted position to empty its contents.

Built in sturdy metal structural works to be anchored to the ground (stainless steel or painted with anti-rust and enamel), BS103 is characterized by the ease of loading and unloading of drums.

The clamping jaws, 400/600 mm high, are completely covered with high adhesion rubber (interchangeable) for a better grip and protection of the drums. 

An important feature is the presence of a radiator for oil cooling to maintain a constant temperature even in the case of very long rotations.

At the customer's request, the mixer can be equipped with guards, with safety sensors located on the access doors to the work area.
